Description
As WWII progressed and German forces lost their air superiority amid fierce Allied raids in the sky, Germany looked to bolster ground to air defence with the development of self-propelled anti-aircraft guns based upon tanks and half-track vehicles. The 8ton half-track (Sd.Kfz.7/2) was one of those such weapons. The half-track chassis employed had a proven track record towing 88mm guns, but was now fitted with its own 3.7cm anti-aircraft cannon that could fire 160 rounds per minute. Produced from 1943, later variants were also fitted with armour on the driver seat and radiator.

This is a 1/35 scale plastic model assembly kit. Length: 200mm, width: 70mm
The functional form of the vehicle is accurately captured, including a realistic depiction of the complex half-track suspension
The model can be assembled with its tailgate in raised or lowered position. Plastic netting is also included to raise realism
The 3.7cm anti-aircraft cannon features excellent attention to detail, right down to the breech and mount
Includes explosive and armour piercing shell parts.
