Beautifully built and beautifully covered in matt-finish Oracover even the best builders amongst us will raise a knowing eyebrow to the quality of the woodwork, the authentic camouflage colour scheme, and the overall fit and finish of the parts. Add a smattering of authentic scale detailing – twin Vickers machine guns, thoughtfully engineered and faithfully reproduced struts, a dummy rotary engine, a bungee-sprung undercarriage, tail skid and convincing cockpit graphics – and what emerges is a near spot-on 1000-hour scale model that you can have flying in a mere fraction of the time it would take to build from scratch.
