Sporting sharp, modern Ultimate-style design traits with a nod to open-cockpit classics such as the Pitts, Skybolt and Stampe, the Double Trouble offers an impressive full-house aerobatic capability along with superb slow-speed characteristics and outstanding ground handling. With all this wrapped in a one-piece model that’ll go in the back of a small car, you can see why pilots navigate towards it when they have an aerobatic itch to scratch.
Made specifically to suit traditional UK club flying sites, with all their associated challenges, the DT bipe suits regular .46 to .55-size glow engines or 4-5 cell electric powertrains and will comfortably take the knocks and scrapes dished out by no-so perfect runways. Practical and heaps of fun, it’s a simple, fuss-free, all-season model that’ll take you back to your roots and put a huge smile on your face.
