US Navy SEAL (full name: United States Navy Sea, Air and Land) is the name of a special unit serving within the United States Navy. It was formed by a special order of President John F. Kennedy in May 1961, but it dates back to the World War II special unit of the US Navy called UDT (UDT). Underwater Demolition Team).
