Belair Sopwith 1/2 Strutter – 42″ electric scale kit A-BA001
The 1 1/2 Strutter proved to be one of the multi-role workhorses of WW1 Not only a good observation aircraft but also a bomber, home defence fighter and a shipboard aircraft. That it was relatively easy to fly was an added bonus. The model is also an easy to fly floater.
A full size multi-sheet plan is included and the laser cut parts set includes all the balsa and plywood parts required to build the basic airframe, such as fuselage sides with spar slots and wing position holes laser cut for accuracy, formers, bulkheads, cowl components, wing ribs, shaped spars, tip shapes, trailing edges, struts plus many smaller items including scale control horns, tail skid and wheel cores. Build instructions included.
Note: This model requires all electronics, covering and details to finish.
