Academy US Air Force B-52H Stratofortress 20th BS Buccaneers 1:144 12622
US Air Force long-range strategic jet bomber. First flight in 1952, operational from mid-1955. Completed 60 years service in 2015 and after life extension programme the B-52 is expected to remain in service until the mid 21st Century.
• New Tooling
• Landing gear and bomb bay doors can be built open or closed
• Canopy mask and ground-to-air weapons included
• Markings for 3 aircraft:
(1) B-52H-135-BW 60-0001, c/n 464366 “Memphis Belle IV”, 20th BS, Nellis AFB 2018
(2) B-52H-165-BW 61-0012, c/n 464439 “Loko”, 96th BS, Nellis AFB 2018
(3) B-52H-135-BW 60-0012, c/n 464377, 69th BS, Minot AFB 2018
• 1:144 scale plastic model kit from Academy, requires paint and glue
